ACE Shuts Down 2 Major Streaming Websites

ACE has shut down two huge streaming websites that were operated overseas.

These websites distributed copyrighted on-demand content for movies and TV shows, impacting major rightsholders globally.

The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) is a global anti-piracy organization responsible for shutting down hundreds of pirate streaming sites.

ACE worked closely with the country of Georgia’s Ministry of Finance to shut down two of the nation’s largest illegal streaming sites – adjaranet.com and imovies.cc.

Adjaranet.com became a popular hit, with over 140 million visits over the past few years. This website provided thousands of on-demand titles.

The other website ACE got after was imovies.cc, which has attracted nearly 64 million visits.

The Executive Director of the Anti-Piracy Center of Georgia, Zurab Bezhashvili, also made a comment:
