XtremeHD, 6IPTV, and Other IPTV Services Targeted by ACE & MPA
XtremeHD, 6IPTV, and other IPTV services are being targeted by ACE and the MPA.
Both XtremeHD and 6IPTV are well-known IPTV services used by thousands of cord-cutters across the world.
A few weeks ago, ACE and the MPA obtained a DMCA subpoena requiring Cloudflare to identify the operators behind various IPTV services.
On this list included XtremeHD, 6IPTV, and Magis TV along with others probably not listed.
XtremeHD IPTV is a well-known service claiming to offer over 16,000 live channels, VOD, PPV, and more for $14.99 per month.
6IPTV also made ACE’s latest list, which is an IPTV provider that offered over 10,000 channels, VOD, and more for under $17.00 per month.
Magis TV was the third listed IPTV service on ACE’s list. This provider is extremely popular in Spanish speaking regions and offers over 350 live channels for $9.00 per month.
Some notable streaming websites that made ACE’s DMCA subpoena are highlighted by the following:

According to reports, ACE and the MPA are alleging that these IPTV services and streaming websites are infringing member studios’ rights in several movies.
In the official DMCA subpoena document from ACE, this copyright group stated the following:
“The subpoena requires that you provide information concerning the individuals offering infringing material described in the attached notice. As is stated in the attached subpoena, you are required to disclose to the Motion Picture Association, Inc. (on behalf of the ACE Members) information sufficient to identify the infringers. This would include the individuals’ names, physical addresses, IP addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, payment information, account updates, and account history.”
Notice how this lawsuit pertains to VOD content and not live channels? This always seems to be the case when copyright authorities like ACE and the MPA come after unverified IPTV services.
This is also not the first instance we’ve seen with copyright authorities coming after unverified IPTV operations and streaming websites.
