How to Update Firestick or Fire TV
In the screenshot tutorial below, we will be updating our Firestick using an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K.
This process will work on all variations of Firesticks and Fire TV devices.
1. From your Firestick main menu, hover over the settings icon and click My Fire TV.
2. Click About.
3. Click Install Update.
Note: This may also say “Check for Updates” depending on if your Firestick software is up to date.
4. Wait a few minutes while your Firestick is finishing updates.
5. That’s it! Your Firestick is now updated with the latest software.
