Downloader App Missing from Google Play Store
The Downloader App is currently missing from the Google Play Store on Android TV devices.
This includes the Chromecast with Google TV, NVIDIA Shields, Walmart Onn Google TV Box, and other Android TV boxes.

I published a quick video below explaining my thoughts and more details on Downloader missing from Google Play.
As of this writing, there is no update from the developer (AFTVnews) on what is happening.
If you visit the original installation page for Downloader on the Google Play Store, you will encounter the following screen:
And if you search for “Downloader app” inside Google Play, the official application from AFTVnews does not appear.
All of the other options for “Downloader” are spin offs and not the official application. I don’t suggest installing any of those.
Now if you currently have downloader installed on your Android TV device, it appears to still be working correctly with browsing and side loading.
If you don’t have Downloader installed on your Android TV device, I’ve provided a quick video below for a workaround.
